First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MGEN.
Telesales Representative
First, there was a phone call. Then, I was sent a logic test. After that, I had an interview with the team lead and the head of the center. Once that was done, I received an email confirming my acceptance. Salary was not discussed.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What are your main strengths?
- What are your main weaknesses?
Multichannel Operations Manager
Had a really nice interview with welcoming and kind people. They asked about my career path and also about managing a multichannel platform and handling conflicts. It's a company worth joining when the chance comes up.
- What will you bring to the company?
Data Scientist
First, I had a chat with the data director, where I had to present myself and my background. Then, there was a more technical interview with my future manager, where we dove deeper into the technical and operational stuff. Oh, and I also had to do an online personality test.
- Can you explain a past professional experience?
HR Project Manager
The process included a personality test and a 2-hour HR interview. The interview itself was 1.5 hours long with classic questions, followed by a 30-minute debrief of the personality test. The interview experience was not pleasant at all, with feelings of infantilization, a haughty and almost aggressive interviewer trying to devalue experiences or caricature personality based on test results (which are never provided). Standard questions were asked and then rephrased multiple times. It definitely doesn't give a good image of MGEN. The job itself was interesting, but after this discussion, I was convinced I didn't want to join this company, absolutely unwilling to work with such an outdated profile! 2.5 hours were spent on this process, but there was no follow-up from the HR person. A critical lack of professionalism from start to finish.
- How have you resolved a complex situation?
- How do you handle conflict within your team?
