First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MG Stover.
Investor Services Associate
The interview process was great overall. I had an initial interview with two hiring managers, followed by another with two senior employees. It moved fast and was quite smooth. The third interview resulted in an offer.
- How do you handle keeping track of numerous tasks?
Fund Accountant
The interview process was really good overall, and I got to meet and talk with many different team members. After the first phone screen, all interviews were conducted via video, which felt very conversational. There weren't many technical questions, more behavioral ones, which seems about right for an entry-level position.
- When faced with many tasks, how do you manage your workload?
Blockchain Developer
I applied on LinkedIn and a recruiter reached out. The HR director for MG Stover was supposed to call me later that day, but instead, she emailed to set up an interview. I suggested some times, and she emailed back proposing 4pm eastern. At 5pm, I got a meeting invite for 6pm eastern. At the start, she said she dislikes interviewing candidates from headhunters. Then she asked what I knew about the position and company. I said I read the job description and website and it seemed like a good fit, but I didn't know much beyond online info. She then asked aggressively, "if you don't know much about the company how do you know if you'd be a good fit for the position?" I ended the interview because she was rude and agitated, which confirmed the bad reviews on Glassdoor.

- How can you determine if you're a good fit for the position if you don't know much about the company?

There were two interview rounds, with questions generally focused on my resume and experience. I spoke with two different team members separately, and then had a third conversation with an HR representative who extended an offer.
- Can you describe your experience in TA and AIS?
- Could you share some instances where you dealt with difficult investors?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle X.
