The interview was pretty straightforward, and it was a panel interview. They asked a lot about my background and some technical stuff. It was intimidating at first, but I got comfortable quickly.

Behavioral Technical

It was a relaxed company culture, which surprised me for a sound specialist company given the quiet atmosphere. The company is small, family-owned, with approachable owners involved in daily operations. I had an initial phone screen with an HR rep, then was invited to meet the Art Director. The sign-in sheet listed many interviews for the day, making it feel like a large group. The Art Director was easy to talk to and talented, using many industry terms like 'branding is huge.' They didn't respond to my follow-up, which was rude.

I applied online and then a recruiter called me about a week later. After that, I had a conversation with my potential manager where they asked about my career aspirations and what I wanted to get out of the internship. They also threw in some stats and material strength questions. They mentioned calling back next year, which I thought meant I didn't get it, but then they surprisingly called with an offer about two months later.

HR reached out via email for a quick phone screening. Soon after, I was emailed to set up an in-person interview. The in-person was about an hour long and involved meeting two people from the Facilities team and one from HR. They were all very nice. The interview had a lot of questions, and by the end, I wasn't sure if a practical skills test wouldn't have been better, but maybe that wasn't the goal.
