I got an interview invite on MS Teams about a week after I applied. The interview was with the recruiter a week later. They were really attentive and made me feel relaxed. I thought it went well, but sadly, I wasn't the right fit. I got a standard rejection email with no helpful feedback. I tried asking for more info, but didn't hear back. The whole thing took around three weeks.

I applied for a Lead Product Designer role at Mews and was contacted by the recruitment team. The interview process was quite extensive, which I appreciated because it showed they were serious about hiring top talent. I really enjoyed speaking with the Design Directors and learning about the company's ambitions and mission. After a total of 6 interviews with recruiters, design directors, and other designers, I was informally told I got the job. I was so happy that I prioritized Mews over other opportunities. However, it took a long time to get an official offer, and I was always told it would come soon. For a while, I didn't even know basic details like salary, start dates, etc. More than a week after the informal offer, I finally got the official response: they couldn't hire me because of my location, even though the role was remote and we're both in the EU. They knew my location from the start. They then offered me a contractor role, but that also fell through after a few days. This whole process felt very disorganized and unprofessional. While the design initiatives we discussed were inspiring, I'd advise other candidates to be cautious during recruitment for this position.

The interview process was pretty quick and straightforward: A 10-minute informal online interview with TA where they essentially let me know they were there to answer any questions I might have about the company or the process. Then a 60-minute technical portfolio review with 2 Line Managers. After that, a 60-minute expertise and culture interview with the Division Director. Finally, a 10-minute success meeting with TA where they told me they wanted me in the company and extended an offer. The whole thing took 2 weeks.
