I interviewed with 5 people from the department all at once. It seemed like only one person was asking questions while the other 4 just watched. Communication was really unprofessional. I'm taking time out of my day to talk to them, so getting a response or an update on my application shouldn't be so difficult. I emailed a few times, and the most HR said was 'I'll be meeting with the team in the coming days and will update you.' I've already figured I didn't get the job. It's worth noting that after the interview, I didn't hear anything unless I reached out for an update, and even then, I was left hanging.

I think there's only one person in charge of hiring at MTA Headquarters. The interview process is really simple. They'll call you to set up a time, and then you just show up. The building itself is pretty empty, with no one at the front desk or anything. You can just walk in without much fuss. The interviewer was nice enough at first, but then we got to MTA history, and she got kind of annoyed that I only knew the basics.
