Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty chill. They asked a few questions about different scenarios, like what happens if parts you order get delayed or if you order the wrong ones, and how you'd deal with that. They also asked some questions about what I know about the company and what they do. The rest of the interview was about scenarios I've dealt with before.

Confirmed questions5 questions

  • How would you handle a situation where ordered parts are delayed?
  • What is your approach when incorrect parts are ordered?

The interview process is pretty standard for Metrolinx, really structured. It was about an hour long with 6 situational questions. There was also one leadership question about leadership style and diversity, and what it means to you. They said to just use the STAR method for all your answers.

It was a typical government panel interview, and they had a pre-set list of questions. I didn't get much time to ask about job responsibilities or the org structure. There were too many questions to answer in the time they gave.

Behavioral Technical

You'll have one interview with the supervisor of the department and the team you'll be working with. They'll ask basic questions, and some questions specific to the job. I'd prepare to answer questions about why you want to work there, time management skills, and your skills related to the job posting.
