Got a quick email first about pay, hours, and when I could start. Then another email asking me to do a little online quiz. After that, I went in for an in-person interview where they asked the usual stuff, like hourly pay and where I might work. It was mostly a meet and greet to see if we'd vibe, and also to talk about how long I could work for the season.

I met with the lead merchandiser at the store. They showed me around the store. They asked for standard ID confirmation questions, like my name and date of birth, and asked me to provide a valid driver's license. They also gave me a description of the responsibilities for the position and the general workflow.

I talked to someone in person back in 2016 for this seasonal job. I'm not sure if there was a call interview before that, it was mostly in person. They did run a background check. Since it was seasonal, the interview wasn't super strict. Maybe a drug test happened too.
