The first interview was a zoom call with HR and three team members who seemed uninterested. It started with asking why I applied, then went into technical questions. The questions felt like they were trying to trap me, asking for specifics in a changing process with no right answer. When I paused to think, HR prompted me to guess, which was condescending and disruptive. Based on ratings, many people have negative experiences here. Small changes could improve things.

It felt like an interrogation. I was in a room with about five people, and they took turns reading from a script that seemed like it was written by a government HR department. Nobody showed any personality except for the HR lady, who was really nice! Just be prepared for a stare-down and for them to write and type everything you say.

The interview team was a little late, and the head of the department was even later. They then seemed to rush through the interview because they had to stay on schedule. It was obvious the two people were not focused, with doors opening and closing and hushed talking. I was interrupted mid-answer and told they had to leave to stay on schedule. It's been weeks with no follow-up communication. It's okay if I'm not selected for an in-person interview, but a simple email to let me know the process is moving forward is what a professional recruiting team would do. This team was unprofessional.

It started with a quick HR phone call to set up an in-person interview and check my resume and application info. Then, I had a panel interview with one HR person and two hiring managers. First, the HR person asked some basic questions about my resume and past work/school. After that, the hiring manager asked more detailed questions about how my skills could be used on current projects and what I would contribute to the company. The interview finished with a review of the benefits offered and info on the pay range.
