First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Metro Self Storage.
Storage Consultant
It was a pretty straightforward process. First, I had a phone interview. After that, I had an in-person interview. The final step was a phone call with HR to discuss pay and what the job entails. Then there was two weeks of training on site.
- Can you discuss your past work experience and credentials?
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
- Describe your self-motivation and self-discipline.
Storage Consultant
Both sets of interviews were sweet and simple! The phone interview consisted of being questioned about my work history, and the in-store interview consisted of talking with a manager about the functions of the store.
- What makes you think Metro Storage is the right place for you?
IT
The interview was mainly a description of the job, with the interviewers talking amongst themselves. They didn't ask about my experience or skills, and said the whole thing is based on a personality test.
- How would you handle a non-functional computer monitor?
Storage Leasing Consultant
The interview was a face-to-face meeting with the district manager during his visit. It was straightforward, focusing on my experience and providing details about the job. The interview took place at the storage facility where the work would be performed.
