This was a tough interview process for a Business Analyst role. It involved multilevel interviews across 3-5 rounds. They were looking for experience in product companies and asked about work time flexibility, Agile process, GRC knowledge, independent project handling, and SDLC documents skills.

I went through 3 technical rounds. The first was a managerial telephonic call, which I passed, leading to face-to-face interviews with the Director and Business Head. The interview with the Director went very well, though they suggested areas for improvement before moving me to the next stage. The interview with the Business Head also went well, where I discussed my work, projects, and general GRC domain topics. The final round was with HR, covering standard questions about salary expectations, current salary, notice period, my background, family details, my wife's job, and more. I was given a point of contact for updates but haven't received any since my interview on September 2nd, 2018, despite multiple emails. I learned from my referrer that my profile was positively reviewed but put on hold for unspecified reasons. I find this lack of communication unprofessional, especially since I would prefer knowing the reason for rejection over this uncertainty.

The HR called me for a BA role in banking, and I have a background in banking and financial services. The first telephonic round checked my domain knowledge and BA skills. A week later, I had to follow up with HR, and she said they'd already given me an offer, which shocked me. Another round happened a week after that, and again, I had to wait a week for feedback after following up. Both rounds asked the same question: if I was flexible to work in other domains. I said I preferred to stick to my expertise domain, and they assured me they had plenty of banking projects. The third round was f2f, which took three weeks to schedule. They even canceled my f2f appointment two days before, making me bear cancellation charges for my Pune to Bangalore bus ticket. After the f2f, the third round was with Ashish, a senior person, which I cleared. HR then said the VP wasn't available and the next telephonic round would confirm things. This was on Sep 4th, and again they asked about other domains I was comfortable with and what value add I'd provide. For a month after that, they gave no reply, and I had to continuously follow up after every round. The worst part is they are not refunding my travel expenses incurred for the f2f round after a two-month process. This was a terrible interview experience with constant follow-ups and management not valuing time.
