I got a call from a recruiter to start. The first phone interview was a bit odd. Then, I had a second interview that I thought went well. The recruiter said they'd let me know about next steps, but I had to chase them for an update. It felt disorganized. I'm a bit bummed about how it went down, but oh well.

So I interviewed with Metova back in May 2018 for a Web QA Automation Engineer role. It was quite a process – I had four phone interviews and then an onsite in Irving, TX. They told me I didn't get it because the client wanted someone with more experience. But then, about 15 days later, around June 15th, the Metova coordinator called me back. They wanted to offer me the position and sent over the offer letter. I had a few questions about the job, so I asked them. Then, just two business days after that, they called again to say the job I was offered at Metova wasn't available anymore because the client changed their mind. Seriously, can't trust them. Watch out.

The whole process felt like they weren't sure what they were looking for, making it a complete waste of time. The job requirements and what the recruiters said didn't match what they were looking for after the interview. The manager hinted at moving to the next steps (an offer), but they were focused on a specific skill they wanted, which was never brought up before the interview and they didn't ask any questions about it.

The interview was pretty chill, with two interviewers. They were really into my previous work, and it felt like it went really well. The interviewers seemed super confident and nice, so overall it was a good time. I'm actually still connected with them.
