So the interview process started with a Skype call, just to get to know me. After that, I had 4 in-person interviews where I met with different managers, usually two at a time. There was also a technical test with questions that varied in difficulty. I actually didn't know the answers to most of those. They also had me do a DISC assessment, which is like a 20-minute thing to see if you're a good fit, asking about you. The whole thing from the first interview to getting a start date took about 2-3 weeks. They said after each interview, the hiring manager would let me know within 48 hours if they wanted to move forward with me.

I saw the ad for a System Administrator and applied the next day. They called me back shortly after and we set up a first interview for Monday. I got there a bit early, and right on time, they came out to get me. The interviewer mentioned the company is growing and they need more sysadmins. They asked me some basic tech questions, looked over my resume, and seemed impressed. That part was quick, maybe 10 minutes. Then, they had me do a short written test for Tier 1/2 issues, saying Tier 1 was easy but Tier 2 could be tough. The Tier 1 stuff was pretty simple, like naming ports and basic troubleshooting for networks and viruses. But their Tier 2 questions were harder, asking about specific services and complex networking topics like BGP vs. OSPF, and comparing PortFast to EtherChannel. Honestly, most of the Tier 2 questions weren't too bad, and the Tier 1 ones were relatively simple, even if not all typical Tier 1 topics. They said they'd get back to me in about a week, but I heard nothing. When I followed up, they said they were still interviewing and wouldn't move to second interviews until the month started, which was over three weeks after my first interview because they were relocating.

I applied online and heard back about a week later for a first interview with the president and head of web development. They were friendly and talked about the company's growth in IT and web staff. The interview was straightforward but challenging, with questions mainly about my programming background, my interest in the job, and responsibilities. They reviewed my portfolio and previous work, and I completed a programming test at the end covering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I was told a second interview would be set up, and it happened the next day with a panel of three people. This second interview was more casual, focusing on company culture and getting to know me. I received an offer the same day. Throughout the process, I met many friendly employees, which was reassuring about the work environment and team.

I knew someone who worked for Method and they let me know there was a new position opened. I sent my resume to the manager and they called me in for an interview. A few days later they called me in for a second interview and the next day they sent me a job offer via email. I accepted the offer and started 3 weeks later to give my current job at the time a proper notice.
