Behavioral Group

The interview process was pretty simple, with two rounds. The first round had two people from the design team, and the second round had two people from the operations team. I interviewed back in 2022, so things might be a little different now that the Studio Team has merged. It was nice not having to do a take-home assignment.

Behavioral Other

I had a phone screening with recruitment, then a zoom interview with the category manager and the next stage is an in person interview. They asked what attracted me to metcash, what sort of things you notice when you go into a grocery store e.g. signage, product placement etc.

Behavioral Technical

Through Awf they usually do a quick phone interview, then offer you to come in to do an online induction that takes about 30 minutes (safety videos etc). Once done they sit you down individually and ask questions about availability and tickets etc. You then go for your medical and if passed you find out the next day. If successful you then get an email saying you have a site induction which takes a couple hours.

Behavioral Technical

It was a clear and reasonable interview process with the marketing manager, conducted in 2 sessions, each lasting half an hour. The questions weren't overly difficult, covering a mix of technical and behavioral aspects as is typical. There was also an assessment where I was given a dataset to analyze and report on, which was quite clear and provided good insight into their operations and requirements.
