I got a call and they asked me to come in for an interview. When I got there, I had to wait and listen to a really angry customer being told off because he wasn't sticking to the program and needed to buy more supplements. After the interview, they said I'd get a call for a second interview at my home location in a few days. In that second interview, they kept asking me if I thought I could do the job. I'm a Registered Dietitian, so I figured it was within my expertise. The interviewer mentioned that they don't usually hire dietitians because many don't like the artificial sweeteners in their products. I ended up saying that while I don't use them, they're probably fine for a short time to lose weight. Honestly, even if they had called back, I wouldn't have taken the job because their sales tactics are too aggressive and they take advantage of people who are desperate to lose weight.

I got referred by someone I know and my resume went straight to the top. They didn't really explain the role, and my background in design and organic content didn't seem to be what they were after. I had three interviews, the last one was long and I had to present my portfolio, give ideas, and make specific recommendations. I sent a thank-you note and some extra work they asked for, but didn't hear back. I tried to follow up a few times, but there was no real conclusion. It felt like the hiring process could have been more open and communicative.
