the interview was horrendous, it felt like an interrogation. the interviewer expected me to know everything, which is crazy for an intern role. they're using 'interns' to hire actual workers for less pay, which is wild. i'm just a student who is still learning. they asked me to explain what the company does, and when I did, they assumed I hadn't researched enough and compared me to other candidates, which felt like guilt-tripping. they even asked if I used ChatGPT, and when I said it's not reliable, they encouraged me to use it. it's weird that a company would encourage using ChatGPT but then expect interns to do the work. at the end, they asked if I had questions. I asked about the company, and since they thought I didn't prep well, they said they expected a specific keyword they didn't hear from me. is this a speaking test? I did a 2-hour online assessment and a 1-hour interview just to be treated like this. it feels like doing all this to be underpaid and treated like a slave. I dodged a bullet.

I went through a few rounds of tests and then an interview for the internship program. The tests weren't too hard but took up a good chunk of time. During the interview, there was a technical test, which also wasn't very difficult.

The interview process was easy, with general questions about why I want to work there and my experience/background. The interviewer was friendly and approachable, but didn't give much detail about the exact job scope.

Technical Other

This company decided to post job postings under the company name FootfallCam instead of Meta Research. I must say that this is the worst company I have ever interviewed at. Condition of the Kajang office is absolutely horrible. There is no exterior signage which is dodgy. Furthermore, company name differs from the name posted on JobStreet. Interview process was not clearly defined from the start. Interview date changed at the very last minute, causing inconvenience which is incredibly unprofessional. Gave an IQ test of 20 questions for an hour but if you don't pass their requirements, you go home. An utter waste of my time.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • A 20-question IQ test was given, to be completed in one hour.
