The interview process was pretty extensive and involved a lot of rounds, so I really had to prepare and dig deep into the stuff needed for the job. They wanted to check different skills and knowledge areas that are key for this role. I had to look back at my previous work and see how it fits, and also keep up with the newest things happening in the field. It was a good learning experience, and it made me think more about what I know and how to use it when talking to them. It was tough but good, and it showed me how important it is to always be learning and be able to change things up when the professional world is always moving.

It was a really bad experience. I had a 30-minute online video call with the VP of product. The interview itself was okay and friendly. He suggested another interview with two of his colleagues. A few days later, I was emailed to suggest available times for the next calls. They provided a limited set of times to choose from. It seems they ghosted me and other candidates. They also ignored my follow-up emails. Super unprofessional and disappointing. I’d steer clear of this company.

So first I talked to the team lead, and he asked me about my past work and tough problems I've faced. Then I got a take-home assignment to process transaction data as fast as possible. After that, I had a pair programming session with the engineering director, but I messed it up. I had to build a state machine for tracking applications, and I didn't know some key stuff. It seemed like the take-home problem was more my speed, which I did great on, but since I bombed the third round, that was it.

So this was a super negative experience. First they sent over a take-home assignment that was pretty easy. After that, I had an interview with two analysts. The analysts themselves were nice people, but the hiring team's communication was abysmal, the worst I've ever encountered. They told me I'd hear back early the following week, but I never did and they just went completely silent. Totally unprofessional.
