It was a really fast and smooth process. Everyone I talked to was really knowledgeable. The interview was over the phone, and I found out where I stood right after the call. They did it over the phone to make it easier, and it took about 30 minutes. Mesa's application process is pretty involved though, with essays and everything. A common question they ask is about your teaching philosophy, which is something every teacher should have ready.

I was first screened, but not hired. Years later, I was affiliated with the school again. The principal wanted to hire me, but I had to face a panel of 4 principals first. That was tough; they were stern and seemed to be testing my ability to handle pressure, much like the administration does. Eventually, I got an offer.
