The interview started with a demo lecture, which lasted about 10 minutes. Following that, there was a panel interview where I had to answer around 20 questions. These questions covered topics like teaching, industry connections, career goals, and learning environments/approaches. The whole interview process took about 55 minutes.

The interview process included an initial phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by a 1:1 interview with them. Then, there was a panel interview and a presentation. The 1:1 went well and was productive, with normal questions. However, the panel interview felt off, like they weren't engaged and were trying to prove something. One person didn't seem to know the role, and another struggled to ask clear questions, confusing even the other interviewers. It was quite strange.

You'll need to get in touch with the community education supervisor and then submit your class proposals. After that, you'll have to prepare the class syllabus, handouts, and request things like audio-visual equipment, classroom materials, rosters, contact info, security codes and regulations, phone numbers, and parking validation. It was a really friendly and stress-free environment.

I was contacted a week before the interview. It was cold, rigid, and very formal. I didn't learn anything about them, and the interview was just strange. I was given a sheet of about 10 questions, and each panel member took turns asking them and logging my answers. A few days later, I was called back to say I was a finalist. The second interview was a bit less formal. The whole experience after getting the job offer was really negative. HR called my phone and read the offer like a sales pitch from a commercial. Then, I was put on a 24-hour timeline to decide yes or no. They are clearly not in the academic realm because when one is searching for a position, offers need to be carefully considered, evaluated, and negotiated. I ended up declining the position because of the negative HR experience.
