Human Resources Manager
- What do you like to do?
- Tell me a bit about your experience?
- What about your personal life?
Intern
I applied online and after about 1-2 weeks, I got contacted for an interview. Over a two-week period, I did 2 online interviews that lasted 20-30 minutes each. The interviews were pretty standard; they talked about the program and the company, and asked me what I hoped to gain from the internship and why I was interested in working there. Different people interviewed me each time (there were two interviewers in each session), and they were all nice and tried to make me feel relaxed. Even though they had prepared questions, they also asked follow-up questions based on my answers to learn more about me personally. Setting up the interviews and communication could be a bit slow, but overall it was a really good experience.
- What makes you want to intern at this specific company?
- Can you explain your interest in an internship within this field?
- How do your career aspirations align with the opportunities presented by this internship?
Controller
The interview atmosphere was very tense and lacked appreciation. Merz still seems quite old-fashioned, even though they argue they are developing into a modern company. The first interview involved a self-introduction, questions about my CV/person, and a few technical questions. A truly pleasant discussion flow never really developed. Even the questions I asked were answered only briefly, as were short interjected questions. An appreciative attitude towards the applicant would also be desirable. The interviewers seemed arrogant. A second interview with HR was supposed to take place, maybe that would have been more pleasant, but I canceled it myself - no thanks!

Market Access Manager
The interview process involved a video recording component where I had to answer some behavioral questions. After that, there was an interview with the hiring manager and a panel. The entire process was clearly communicated via email and by the recruiter. For the video recording part, I needed to have the right technical equipment ready.
- Can you describe your strategy for market access?
- In what key areas have you made a significant impact regarding market access?
