First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mersino Dewatering.
Sales
It was a pretty standard interview process, nothing too difficult or abstract. The process and interviewers can really vary depending on where you are located. The corporate HR folks seem to be good and know what they are doing, but the branch can be a total roll of the dice.
- Can you tell me what you know about our business?
- What are your hobbies outside of work?
Administrative
The interview process was professional and the questions were mid-range in complexity. There were three interviews over a few days, and everyone was really nice. The office itself seemed a bit outdated. No one was at the front desk when I arrived. Each interview was under an hour long. Two interviews were in-person, and one was a Teams meeting.
- Can you tell me about the biggest challenge you've faced and overcome in your current role?
Maintenance Supervisor
it was a very relaxed, low-stress interview process where we both shared a lot of information to see if I was a good fit for the position. This is a large company that's looking to grow each year, and it seems like there are opportunities for professional development.
- Can you walk me through your resume and discuss your qualifications for this role?
- What experience do you have that makes you qualified for this job?
General Manager
I was first contacted by a recruiter, and then I completed some online assessments. After that, I had an interesting meeting via Zoom. It's a shame the recruiter didn't give me the job description beforehand, which put me at a disadvantage even though I asked for it.
- I was told, not asked, that I would not be considered for the role because I have an 'Un-Intended Condescending' approach.
