First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mersen.
Chef De Projet
We had a phone call to sort out some details, then a video call with the manager. After that, there was a take-home test for emotional intelligence, logic, and personality. Finally, an in-person interview with HR and a meeting with the team.
- How do you envision your daily routine in this role?
Recruitment Officer
One interview with three women, then a quick response. Started the contract the following week. Onboarding was easy and efficient. Then there was a support system in place.
- Can you tell us about your background?
- Do you know how to work in a team?
- Are you familiar with the industrial sector?
Product Manager
The interview process was a bit slow but the staff were super welcoming and professional. Everyone I met was genuinely nice and made me feel comfortable. The questions were insightful and led to good discussions, which helped me understand the role and company culture better. The main con was that it took a long time from applying to getting a decision.
- What's your approach to project prioritization?
Engineer
The interviewer wanted to schedule a meeting but then didn't reply for 2 weeks. They finally got back to me with a time I said I couldn't make. I rearranged my schedule to make the interview time, but then it got cancelled the day before. This is really rude to candidates.
- What's your availability, even though it doesn't really matter and you'll just schedule what you want anyway?
