The interview process involved a technical test where I had to prepare a presentation on the Merkle Analytics Case Study. This was followed by a technical interview with a Senior/Manager Data Lead, focusing on data engineering aspects like pipelines, ML models, and some general background questions. After a two-week wait, I was informed about a team restructure and that the role was on hold, which felt like a waste of time and unprofessional.

It was for an internship. First, there was an online assessment (OA) round, and then the interview schedule was shared after the OA results were out. The group discussion (GD) was easy, followed by a technical round where they asked easy to medium DSA questions, though sometimes they could touch on dynamic programming (DP). After that, there was finally an HR round where they asked general questions from my resume and standard HR questions.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you explain how to find the subarray sum using dynamic programming?
  • What can you tell me about the questions related to my resume?

Technical Coding Behavioral

The first round was an aptitude test with 60 questions, including verbal comprehension, to be completed in 60 minutes. I found it pretty easy overall. Round two was a discussion round where the interviewer gave a topic and we had to share our thoughts. Round three was a technical round where they reviewed my resume, asked about completed projects, and surprisingly asked a hard DSA question even though they mentioned it would be SQL.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you tell me about the projects you've worked on?
  • Could you describe the pipeline you used for your projects?
  • What challenges did you encounter during your projects, and how did you address them?
