First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Meridian Senior Living.
Director of Sales and Marketing
The interview process was straightforward. I spoke with the Regional hiring manager, and then I had conversations with three individuals at the National level. All of them were very friendly, making for an easy discussion.
- Can you share something about yourself that is not detailed on your resume?
Director of Sales and Marketing
This was a long process, spanning about 3-4 months. I spoke with all the regional managers and upper management. I also had to do a personality profile and several in-person and phone interviews. They did extend an offer, which I accepted and negotiated terms for, including relocation assistance. Just a heads-up, be careful with this company because they ended up backing out of the offer they made me, which wasn't very professional.
- What strategies would you use to increase census?
Memory Care Director
First had an initial interview with the ED. We talked about the job and they asked about my adaptability to changing environments. Then I had a follow-up interview with the Wellness Director and RCC. We discussed our respective roles and how on-call rotations and staff scheduling work. After that, I interviewed with the ED again to go over pay and benefits. I received an offer letter and accepted it within a few days.
- How do you prepare for a chaotic day?
Kitchen Staff
It was OK, a lot of questions were asked. The person interviewing me was OK, she was very accurate and friendly. She explained the hours we work, the days, and explained the uniform colors.
- Can I cook?
- How long have you been cooking?
- Where have you cooked before?
