First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Meridian Leasing.
Accountant
It was a pretty chill interview process. Started with HR, then chatted with the Senior accountant and the manager for accounting. It took about two weeks to get an update.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
Network Engineer
I had a one-on-one chat with the IT Director where we talked about IT stuff and also about my personality. It felt pretty relaxed, but it was definitely focused on IT and technology, and the role I'm applying for. Make sure you're ready to answer questions directly related to the job.
- Can you describe the steps involved in creating an SOW?
Systems Engineer
I applied online, and then skipped the phone screen. I had a one-on-one face-to-face interview that lasted under 30 minutes and covered general topics. It was frustrating because they didn't follow up with a decision, even after I emailed them. After more than two weeks, an assistant informed me they hired someone else. Meridian's unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy make me unable to recommend them.
- The questions weren't challenging, making me question their seriousness about my application and if I was just interviewed to meet a quota.
Intern
After submitting my resume, I first got a writing assignment where I needed to create a fake press release. Once I finished that, I had a one-on-one in-person meeting with the head of PR the next week. Right after that meeting, I got the job offer.
- The interview was more of a chat than a Q&A session.
