Got a phone interview a few days after applying. Three weeks later, I had two interviews with the team manager. The questions were a mix of average and hard, with some hard ones having multiple parts, making it tough to keep track of my answers. I didn't get the job. I asked for feedback but didn't get any.

The interview process was very long. It was four stages and took a long time. I didn’t find the interview process itself to be difficult, but I do dislike the trend of these things being so dragged out. I understand why it is this way, and I understand how competitive these roles are but for someone actively seeking a job, it can be frustrating.

This whole hiring thing took about five months and they took ages to get back to me, like 3 weeks on average. It started with me filling out a form in both English and Portuguese. Then I had a quick 15-minute chat with HR over the phone. After that, they hit me up with a bunch of strategic tasks to do. Next, there was another interview, this time with everyone from the department, and it was conducted in both English and Portuguese. After waiting around for almost two months, I finally got a call for a dynamic interview with the people in charge of the department. In the end, I just got a generic email, the kind that seems automated and you can't reply to, thanking me for participating but giving me zero feedback after all these months, which honestly just felt like a waste of my time.

The interview process was really long, spanning about 2 and a half months. I initially applied online via Glassdoor and then had to complete an application form with around 5 essay-style questions about my motivations for joining the company and my personality. This was in addition to submitting a cover letter and my resume. After that, I received an email requiring me to take an assessment test. About a week later, I was asked to complete a video interview on my own time, which lasted about an hour. Once I submitted that, it took roughly a week and a half to hear back. They then moved me forward by giving me a 4-part, 4-hour unpaid work assignment that I had to complete in my free time. After finishing the assignment, there was a two-week silence until they finally informed me they had chosen someone else. I found the whole process excessive for such a good organization, feeling it was very impersonal and one-sided. I never had the chance to talk directly with any hiring managers to ask about the role. The video interview felt distant, just me speaking to a pre-recorded video. I thought I'd get to ask questions after that, but instead, I was given a 4-part, 1-hour assignment without breaks, which I felt unprepared for, especially one question about logistics and digital marketing when this isn't a digital marketing job.
