Director of Technical Support
The whole interview thing wrapped up pretty quick, about 2.5 weeks total. I went through 8 interviews, and then had this one last chat with the CTO. She started off saying she'd heard great things from everyone, and we talked some more about Salesforce. She seemed happy at the end. Two days later, I found out they weren't moving forward with me because I hadn't heard anything. My recruiter confirmed it after calling them. It became pretty clear during all the interviews that things were kind of a mess over there. People were open about it, which was good, but you could tell they weren't thrilled, and neither were the customers. The only good vibes came from the CTO.

Implementation Consultant
I initially applied for a different role, but I reached out to Talent for feedback, which was a positive interaction. A few weeks later, I was contacted about a new opening and received a job offer quite quickly. The entire process was straightforward, and everyone I interacted with was very pleasant. Each person shared their understanding of the role, which was helpful in gauging their perspective on the position's requirements. Even though the first position didn't work out, the conversation with Talent provided valuable feedback and allowed me to express my interest in the company, which I believe contributed to me getting this current role.
- What is your approach when dealing with clients who are unhappy with your responses about processes or changes that cannot be accommodated?
Front End Software Engineer
I had a technical phone screen first, which was pretty laid back. They asked open-ended technical questions. Then I was invited for an onsite the following week. The HR rep scheduled it for the Friday afternoon before Christmas. I got there and the person I was supposed to meet wasn't in the office. There was some disorganization, and I was moved around and had to wait. Finally, a senior lead showed up, talked with me, and gave me a tour. Afterwards, I was given a test on a different machine and editor than I'm used to, which was a bit stressful. I enjoyed meeting the team members, but there was no follow-up afterwards, which was disappointing.
- Asked to code a specific problem during the onsite interview.
Staff Accountant
I applied and got an email two hours later asking about my availability for an interview. I ended up having four interviews across four different days, which was more one-on-one interviews than I was used to. Everyone I talked to was nice and friendly, and I could tell they were really trying to understand my work style and how they could help me grow as an employee, even before I joined. That really impressed me, as did how fast the whole process went. I got an offer 11 days after applying. Definitely a good experience!
- Regarding the previous situation, is there anything you would change in hindsight?
