Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mercury Drug.
Cashier
Even though it was tough for me, I'll remember this interview to improve and be ready for the next place I apply to. It was a good experience, but I still hope to pass the interview and get hired.
- What makes you the right candidate for this position?
Cashier
The whole interview process took a full day because there was only one person interviewing everyone, and they seemed to be taking their sweet time. It felt like they were prioritizing certain candidates over others, as people who arrived later were seen before us. Overall, it was alright, except for that. I didn't get to the next stage though.
- Are you truly willing to work under pressure and not quit easily?
Cashier
They are really picky about who they hire. All the interviews happen at their main office with the HR people. If you pass those, you have to take an exam. After the exam, there are more interviews.
- What are your career aspirations in the next five years?
