Sales Development Representative
The interview process is pretty simple and involves three rounds. After those, you'll do a final presentation for the leadership team. It's all about seeing if you're a good fit for the role.
- What skills and qualities are you bringing to Mercury?
Recruiter
I applied for the Contract Recruiter position through Indeed, as they were open to remote candidates. The HR Generalist reached out, and we had an initial interview. Following that, I had separate interviews with the CPO/CMO, the CEO, and the VP of Sales. During my conversation with the CPO/CMO, I mentioned my interest in the Senior People Operations Manager role, given my strategic POps background. The interviews with the CEO and VP of Sales seemed particularly promising, and subsequent interview dates were set over the next three weeks. A few days after my final interview, I was informed that an offer was in the works. Subsequently, the CPO/CMO requested another phone call. She indicated that the permanent Senior People Operations Manager position could be mine if I were willing to relocate, but since I couldn't, she needed more time to consider. About a month after that call, and after several follow-up emails from my end, I received an email stating I wasn't selected for either role because they decided to go with an internal candidate.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
Account Manager
I applied through Indeed and heard back quickly about a phone interview. First up was a chat with a client support specialist, then I spoke with the Sales Manager. The last step was an in-person meeting with the management team and the CEO.
- Can you tell me about your last job and how it's relevant here?
- Have you worked in client support before?
- Can you go into more detail about your resume?
