The job was found via handshake. Before the interviews, there was a brief 5-minute one-way video interview and a short questionnaire to complete. The process involved two rounds in total. The first round consisted of a presentation where I was asked questions. The second interview was shorter but focused more on direct questioning.

Behavioral Presentation

I got the interview through a recruiter via phone; the person was bubbly and made the call feel very welcoming. Then I came in for an interview, and the office has a sports theme you notice right away. Two front desk people greeted me and let us pick a show to watch while waiting and also watch a cake baking battle. After waiting for about 15-17 minutes, one of the owners called me in. The interview itself was not stressful at all. I had prepared questions, and they were all answered during the interview, which was also not very long, and I appreciated that because I had other things to do in the city.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was quite chaotic. There were about 4 other candidates waiting in the lobby, and I waited for almost 25 minutes to be called for my scheduled interview. The waiting area was noisy with music and a TV, and covered in sports memorabilia, with no company branding in sight. The building directory also didn't list the company. When I was finally called in, I had a relaxed interview with one of the principal owners. He asked if I could come back the next morning at 8 AM for a second interview, which I couldn't do. I was told I'd get a call between 5-6 PM that evening if I made the cut from the 20 interviews they were conducting. I didn't get a call, and I'm not upset about it. I observed 4-5 people coming and going, and heard a lot of yelling from a conference room. The front secretary made about 10 calls to confirm appointments while I was waiting. There's also very little information available online about this company, so proceed with caution.

The interview was straightforward and not too long, though I did have to wait quite a bit before being called in. They mainly asked common interview questions about my past work history and also went over some details from my resume.
