Account Executive
Met with senior leaders 1 on 1. The founder likes to ask unusual questions/puzzles to get a sense of your thought processes and how you collaborate. You'll also have to pitch several senior leaders on who you are. It's a pretty innovative and thought-provoking experience, could be a good place for entrepreneurial types.
- Can you solve this challenging, solvable, and thought-provoking word puzzle?
- Pitch yourself to several senior leaders.
Project Manager
I applied for a few jobs I was interested in. The first interview went great, and I really connected with the team. However, they thought I might be a better fit for another team, so I interviewed with them. Unfortunately, I didn't click with the second interviewer or their team's vision. It seemed like agreeing to meet with the second team disqualified me from the first position, which was disappointing and frustrating. I've tried to get back in for the original role but haven't heard back since the last interview.
- Be ready to talk about your goals and past experiences.
- Make sure you know your goals and can explain your past experiences.
Intern
This was a super chill interview, not formal at all. I wore a suit, but the interviewers were young, maybe 20-somethings, dressed in jeans and hoodies, and didn't seem to have much interviewing experience. There were dogs running around in the next room during our meeting. Definitely don't expect a stuffy, corporate vibe here. Go in with the right mindset, or you'll seem too uptight.
- In what ways do you envision business development playing a role in your career goals?
- What are your aspirations for the next five years?
Conceptual Designer
I got a call saying they saw my portfolio on Monster.com. We set up an interview for the next week. I interviewed, and then they called me back with an offer. I took it.
- What motivated your departure from your previous role?
