Right after I applied for a Director level job, I got an email for a phone interview, which was within 48 hours. I felt the phone interview went well, and they said I'd hear back about feedback and next steps soon. After waiting a few days, I tried to follow up with the interviewer but got no reply. A few days later, I followed up again for an update or feedback and still heard nothing. I reached out a third time just to get feedback, and still, no response. I've never gotten an email saying I wasn't being considered or any kind of response from the interviewer. It's disappointing they didn't have the courtesy to let me know I wasn't moving forward or even explain why, especially for a Director role in HR.
