I got an email from a recruiter about an ISR job at memoryblue. It took them about 2 weeks to reply, then we scheduled a Zoom call that lasted around 10 minutes. The recruiter asked some basic questions to see if I'd be a good fit, mentioning my past sales experience might be relevant. They said they'd get back to me the next day or by Monday, but it's been 10 days and I haven't heard anything, even after I sent a follow-up email. It's kind of frustrating, feels like the 'everyone needs help' thing isn't true right now.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Started with a phone call with the recruiter, then I had to do an online assessment. After that, I went in person to interview with two managers. The last part was a role-play interview. I got an offer but turned it down because the base pay was a bit low for sales in Austin, and there was no guarantee of hitting quota after the first 90 days. When I asked about compensation details, the recruiter said she'd have to 'go to bat for me' to get the answers, and since compensation clarity is really important to me, that was a concern.

The interview process was pretty straightforward, with three main parts. First, there was a phone screen. After that, a short, 20-minute Sales Skills assessment was given to check how good a candidate is. Finally, a formal interview was set up once the assessment was done. I was a bit unsure about the assessment initially, but it turned out to be not too difficult and was quite simple and direct.
