First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Meharry Medical College.
Registered Nurse
The interview process was great and easy. I recommend it. Being on time and cheerful would make it go great for you. It was a pretty easy and straight forward process from beginning to end, atypical of interviews and processes.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your goals?
Administrative
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I met with the person I was supposed to interview with. They asked questions about my experience and the job duties. Meharry has a really family-like vibe, so it's good to be upbeat and personable.
- How have you handled unhappy customers in the past?
Dental Student
It felt more like a conversation. If you're yourself and show you're passionate about dentistry and helping people, you'll get accepted. They asked a variety of questions, and they definitely want to see your personality. It's not solely based on DAT scores; I got accepted with a 17 on the DAT, a 3.28 GPA, and a 2.86 science GPA.
- What would you wish for if you had a magic wand?
Animator
The interview process felt a bit intense and overwhelming, but the people were actually pretty nice and welcoming. I wasn't fully prepped for the specific role since it wasn't my strongest area, but it's something they offer, so I gave it my best shot. Everyone seemed great, but I'm a little worried because they have high expectations for someone who's just there to learn for a short time.
- What's your experience level in animation?
