So first, a hiring partner will give you a pre-screen. You can expect some technical questions about VOIP, networking, and customer service. The recruiter will also give you some pointers on what to focus on during the interview.

I was referred by my College and initially hired on a 9-month contract, which is standard for all employees at MP. If you consistently meet performance expectations during the contract, you're eligible for permanent hiring during their quarterly process. My interview involved two people: the floor lead and the floor manager. They asked general IT questions covering TCP/IP, iOS layers, and IT knowledge, as well as specifics about T!/EoC/DSL products, their technologies, and the back-haul network. The hiring agency, Insight Global, initially contacted me about the role at MegaPath. After that, I had the interview with the Lead and Manager, where they asked the IT questions and also customer support questions like how I'd handle certain situations. My advice is to research the company and be honest; they want to see your willingness to learn.

The hiring manager seemed to lack energy and enthusiasm. They asked me questions about quotas and the sales cycle, but didn't try to connect my experience in SaaS or EPM/ERP to the role. The only part I was interested in was the UCass. There was no real connection, and I was glad to finish the call with someone who struggled to engage with people.

The initial part of the interview process felt pretty straightforward. They asked a few things about my past experience and where I see myself going career-wise. A big focus was on my ability to juggle multiple tasks and how I deal with changes. They were also interested in hearing about my experience with up-selling and managing client accounts. We also chatted about sales strategy and how it connects with providing good customer service.
