A recruiter reached out, and my resume got past the first check. Then, they set up an interview where I had to have my camera on, but the HR person didn't. In the end, I got a rejection email. Maybe it was because my salary ideas were too high, or my skills weren't the right fit.

The first stage at Cooper involves MCQs covering aptitude, medium-level array, and string questions, along with a coding test. The second stage requires developing a console-based application. Following that, there are two technical rounds, with the third focusing heavily on data structure questions, and finally, an HR round.

I interviewed with this company a while back and it was not an awful experience but certainly not a pleasant one. Considering that people involved in the interview had resigned, it was potentially a good thing the application did not result in an offer. It felt like I'd been chosen as a filler candidate or out of desperation as the team did not seem entirely enthusiastic. However, I'll give kudos as the HR team were quick and communicated really well.

The assessment process was the same for professionals at different levels and for different job openings. It was very comprehensive, and they justified it by saying it was a "full stack" opportunity. I had to travel to the company twice, which is almost an hour away from my home. They didn't even want to inform me about the salary, with the usual "we are not disclosing the salary," which we know means they want to hire someone with the lowest salary expectation. The people responsible visibly got uncomfortable when I stated my salary expectation.
