First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Meetings & Incentives Worldwide.
Coordinator
The initial phone screening was quite long, over an hour. They asked some simple questions. I really liked learning about the company. The interviewer was very pleasant. My own schedule made the process take a bit longer than usual, but I'd guess it usually takes about a week.
- Can you tell me about your experience using Outlook?
Program Manager
I spoke with 4 people at this company, 3 over the phone and 1 in person. The interviews themselves went well and the people were nice, but the process took over 6 weeks and lacked follow-up and transparency. I ended up accepting another offer after just a week while this process was still ongoing. The interviewers seemed busy and there wasn't much direction or organization between them, making me wonder if they communicated with each other. Overall, the company seems good and the people were nice, but I was disappointed with how the interview process was handled.
- Can you share your experience interacting with clients and what makes you effective at building those relationships?
- What qualities do you possess that contribute to your success in client relationship management?
Event Experience Coordinator
Two weeks after applying, I got a preliminary interview. Then, I had a second interview with three managers, which went pretty well. I didn't hear back for a week, so I followed up for feedback and found out I'd been ghosted. I know everyone's busy, but a quick rejection email would have been nice.
- Tell me about your experience using Outlook.
- How proficient are you with Excel?
- Can you describe your methods for staying organized?
Registration Coordinator
Had a 20-minute initial phone call with a recruiter who was really nice. Unfortunately, they didn't realize a key detail about location restrictions, which meant they couldn't hire me in certain states. They were very responsive though.
- How do you cope with stress?
