The interview process was pretty straightforward and moved quickly, getting me all the way to the fourth interview. I even got to meet some of the team members I would have been working with. After that, though, it went silent, and I was ghosted until I reached out. It's odd because typically, when candidates make it to a fourth round and meet the team, they're close to getting an offer. Here, it felt like they didn't value my time. Honestly, I'm kind of glad I didn't get the job if this is how they operate.

The interview process was smooth, respectful, and genuine. They asked about my personality and skills, and also posed scenario-based questions to check how I adapt to different situations. They seem really focused on finding the right person for the role, and wouldn't hire someone just because they need someone, even if the position is vacant.

I applied online and got a call to set up a phone interview. It went for about 30 minutes. The HR recruiter, Rachel, was super professional and easy to talk to. She explained the job really well. All the questions felt like they were checking if I'd be a good fit for the job and company. Then, they called me back for a face-to-face interview. I had two interviews at the office with Rachel and two different managers. I felt pretty relaxed, which is unusual for me. The people I interviewed with were very professional and honest about the job duties and what they expect. You can tell they really appreciate hard work there. I've interviewed a lot in Chicago and this was the best experience, but maybe that's because it was the perfect job for me. When you walk in, the vibe is pretty chill, and you might even get a visit from an office dog while you wait!

I applied online and got a call a week later about the role. The questions were super personality-focused, which made me wonder if I was walking into a cult. They must have liked me though, because they invited me for an in-person interview. After rescheduling twice, I finally met with HR and the Tech lead, who happened to have the same degree as me from the same university. They didn't ask many questions, and I got the feeling they weren't really feeling me. It was strange because having the same degree should mean we have the same foundation, right? I think it might be because I didn't know him. I was confused why they called me in for a face-to-face with so few technical questions. I had to follow up and eventually heard back that I wasn't a good fit for the job.
