First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Meeting Street Schools.
Teacher
The interview process was super helpful and gave me a lot of information. It was a bit strange though, because the people interviewing me didn't actually work at the school. I was thinking about whether this might impact the hiring if they were actual school staff.
- What experiences from your past motivated you to pursue this role?
Educator
So I applied for the job, then they called me in for an interview. I did the interview and then got a tour of the school. After that, they called me with a job offer.
- What is your understanding of the "opportunity gap"?
HR Coordinator
I had a great experience with communication. There were two phone screens, and then an in-person interview. I was bummed I didn't get the job, but the process was really smooth and the company seemed lovely!
- Tell me about a situation you faced and how you dealt with it.
- What's your approach to prioritizing tasks on a daily basis?
Education Teacher
The interview was thorough and really insightful. They asked me a lot of personal questions which all tied into why I wanted that role. I forgot I was being interviewed at one point as we laughed.
- Tell me about a hobby or interest you have outside of your work, school, or other duties.
