It was one Hackerrank coding round and then two technical rounds, followed by a hiring manager round. You pretty much need to remember the exact syntax or concepts to pass. It's more about memorization than thinking. I got rejected after the first tech round, which lasted two hours and I answered about 80% of the questions.

I couldn't connect with the interviewer. She wasn't clear about the problem statement. When I asked for clarification, she changed the problem statement, and consequently, the expected output also changed. I don't recommend this.

The interview process focused on key areas for an SDET role. They really wanted to know about building an automation framework from the ground up. Also covered API automation and creating test cases. We also touched on data structures and algorithms, and manual testing and the overall QA process. Finally, there was a question about automating a POST request using Java.
