Key Account Manager
I was hired as an off-role employee through Akal Information Pvt Ltd / Clientpro services. It took about 2-3 weeks to get my interview scheduled, and that was after a lot of referrals. They were mainly interested in basic Excel skills like vlookup, pivot tables, and sumif, as well as my previous job role. The process involved two rounds of online discussions. Salary wasn't discussed upfront, as all off-role employees get the same amount, though you can try to negotiate. There's an extra question tailored to the specific team you're joining. For instance, the pricing/promotions team might ask you to act as a supplier on Meesho and convince them to lower prices for a sale. The ad team might ask you to persuade them to advertise on Meesho. The Mall team role is quite tough, involving more challenging Excel questions. The selection team might ask you to convince them to onboard new products regularly. In the off-role hiring process, you're not officially hired on paper but placed on probation with an agreement that renews, typically not exceeding 11 months. They seldom fire people, but when they do, it's immediate – your access is cut off the next day, and you only get paid for the days worked that month. If you're lucky, they might give a reason, though it's often not valid, before terminating your access. However, since it's a fully work-from-home setup, it's generally acceptable.

Key Account Manager
Had an HR operations and manager round. Then a senior manager round where they asked questions about previous work experience and gave examples of their current work. After that, they gave the result.
- Can you define advertisement and sales?
Key Accounts Manager
It was a drawn-out and inefficient process. Since it's a new company, the interview process reflected that, with a lot of waiting time (maybe they intended us to wait).
- Present a case study on how you would handle customer retention.
