Medical Delivery Driver
The interview process was straightforward and standard, not difficult. It mostly focused on assessing if I could handle the responsibilities of a medical courier, including driving to various locations, both near and far, especially for clients in a larger city.
- Would you be okay with driving to the specified city location?
Digital Marketing Manager
I had a good initial screening with the recruiter over Teams video. It was a productive chat, and I felt positive about what might come next. They said they'd get back to me on how things went, but I never heard anything. I even sent a polite email to check in, but still no reply. I know hiring can be slow or change direction, but some basic communication, like a quick update, would be appreciated. It was a bummer not to get a follow-up after it seemed to be going well.
- Can you walk me through a campaign you've managed entirely, from beginning to end?
Driver
I was contacted by a recruiter via email who provided her phone number for me to call. During our conversation, she asked a few general screening questions, and the call lasted about 5 minutes. Following that, they send your paperwork to the Hiring Manager to decide if you move forward.
- What's the reason for you leaving your current job?
- What made you choose these specific hours?
Operations Manager
I had 3 interviews and the conversation was good overall. However, there were a few red flags. The hiring manager mentioned they were firing the current Operations Manager in a few weeks and that I would be replacing her. She even shared the manager's name and the reasons for her termination, which I found unprofessional and unnecessary. This gave me a bad impression of the company culture. I received a job offer but asked them to match another offer I had, requesting about 10% more. Both the hiring manager and recruiter's demeanor changed, and they seemed offended by my negotiation. The recruiter stated they didn't want a candidate who was considering other offers, which I thought was an immature and inexperienced response, as most applicants explore multiple opportunities. Ultimately, they didn't increase their offer, and I declined because their attitude put me off, leading me to accept the other offer.
- Can you describe your management style?
- What qualities do you seek in a company?
