The company initially moves quickly, giving a sense of interest, but then they ghost you without any follow-up or closure, which is unprofessional and disappointing. Communication completely drops, leaving you in the dark. The CEO, who should set the tone, is disengaged and doesn't allow candidates to ask basic questions, showing a lack of respect for time and effort. I'd advise against pursuing this opportunity as it doesn't value transparency or follow-through.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

So I interviewed a few weeks ago in NYC (I live 1.5 hrs. away). While the questions were normal and the actual interview wasn't terrible, what followed was extremely disappointing. I asked the interviewer if they could please call me to let me either way if I was going to be moving on to the next round. They said "of course, we wouldn't ghost anyone" I personally believe this is the professional thing to do. Any way, I NEVER got a call. So I emailed them twice and I NEVER got a response. So, I WAS ghosted. Whatever...I moved on. A few weeks after that interview I got another request for an interview from them but this time with someone else. They asked if I could do a zoom call on a Sunday. That was fine. That interview went well. A few days after that, I got another call asking if I would come to NYC for an interview with the same guy I already interviewed with the first time. The guy who ghosted me. I told them I already interviewed with him a few weeks prior and I was confused as I assumed the second interview was just that, a second interview. They put me on hold to straighten it out. They called the ghoster and he said he would like me to come back in for another interview. So after telling them that I did not want to come back up (after the experience I already had) unless they were REALLY interested in me. She assured me they were. I set a date for the third interview in NYC. Flash forward to today. I get to NYC for a 3:00pm interview and at 2:00pm, I get a call from them. They want to reschedule my interview because something suddenly came up and the ghoster had to leave. They wanted to set up a zoom interview for Friday. So many red flags. I told them I wasn't interested in interviewing anymore. If this is their best foot forward, I certainly don't want to get stuck in this place knowing how unorganized they are, and how they have total disregard for peoples time. I really would think twice about a career at MedRite.

Got contacted by an executive assistant about ten minutes after applying for the VP Marketing job. Asked about salary range and other details before attending an in-person interview for a 20-minute interview. Assistant wouldn’t provide more info, so declined the in-person interview and said I’d only do a primary interview over Zoom or phone. She said the hiring manager agreed to a Zoom call. Hiring manager invited someone else to the interview and split the screen of the Zoom so I could see them plus myself on the big screen in their office. They asked bizarre questions and put themselves on mute to chat as I was speaking. Avoid this place!

It was a very fast and positive interview process. The company moves quickly and has a lot of growth potential if you put in the work. The CEO was outstanding. People really get along well there, it's a great teamwork environment.
