Behavioral Technical

It was a three-stage process, including an initial screening, a meeting with the hiring manager, and then a session with two other directors from the department. The interviews were mostly behavioral, with some questions tailored by the specific interviewers.

The interview process included two virtual interviews, followed by an in-person ride-along with a sales representative, and concluded with a final panel interview. I received an offer and am happy I accepted. The process took a bit longer than expected, but that was mainly due to my availability. They were ready to move faster if needed.

Behavioral Case Presentation

So at Medline Europe, the interviews usually go like this: first, a quick call to chat about you and what the job is about. Then, you meet with the hiring folks to talk about your skills and experience and how you'd fit with Medline’s focus on customers and solutions. The last part is often a group interview or a presentation where you show how you solve problems, know the products, and would fit in. They really care about teamwork, being flexible, and getting what customers need. For some jobs, you might also do some tests or case studies to check your skills and strategy.

Technical Behavioral

The interview was over Zoom with two managers. I got two emails saying to dress professionally, which was weird because, duh. One manager showed up in a Nirvana sweatshirt. She also went on a rant about how the person hired needs to be an expert in Excel because she doesn't have time to train or hold anyone's hand. I'd already passed an Excel test to get to this second interview, so I knew that. She didn't seem like someone I'd want to work with, or report to, and I realized during the interview I wasn't interested in that department.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe your Excel skills?
