Business Analyst
Interview process more like a disaster... It took me 7 weeks to complete 3 rounds of interviews, very inefficient HR team... If candidates follow up on the interview, HR will contact you per the mood but mostly they would ignore that...
- Can you introduce yourself?
Business Analyst
I applied through linkedin and got an onsite interview opportunity. The telephonic screening was conducted by Matt and Das Narayanan was the recruiting manager. They were very polite and helpful. Was asked to appear for an onsite interview. Medidata booked my tickets and asked to fly to NY. On the day of the interview, my flight got delayed due to bad weather and I was stuck in traffic. Therefore I reached late to Medidata's office. The first few rounds were all related to the details I provided on my resume. After that I was presented with a simple business problem by one of the senior members. This was the phase where which I was tested for my BA skills.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- Describe a time you failed to deliver on a task or job responsibility and how you managed it.
- How would you design a feature to help a LinkedIn user merge multiple accounts linked to different email addresses, including merging contacts?
Technology Analyst
The interview process was straightforward and there were no hassles. There were questions about background skills and experience, and a coding challenge during the interview which was okay. Overall, it was a good experience. It didn't feel like a formal interview; if anything, the interviewers were trying to get to know you, so be confident and speak up.
- Which programming languages do you know well?
- Can you describe the coding challenge you will be given on the interview day?
- The coding challenge is mainly focused on logic and problem solving.
