Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

So I applied for a Senior Analyst position and the process was pretty involved: first a recruiter screen, then I had several meetings with the Sr. manager, then another Sr. manager, and a Sr. director. After that, I had to do a detailed case study presentation for the whole panel, which included a VP. I spent a lot of time and effort getting ready for the case study and presentation. After presenting, I followed up a few times with the recruiter to see what was up, but I just got an automated rejection email with no explanation the week after. It wasn't until I reached out again, this time to both the recruiter and the Sr. hiring manager, that I finally got some minimal feedback over the phone. Honestly, they could have at least given me some constructive feedback considering how many hours I put into this. On the call, the recruiter mentioned they thought the other candidate was a strong fit from the start, which made me wonder if I was ever really considered or just a backup to make their preferred choice look better. The recruiter did apologize multiple times for the lack of communication, but the overall lack of transparency and poor communication made the whole experience feel unprofessional and inconsiderate. Candidates should be treated with respect and honesty, especially when they're asked to invest so much time. So, for anyone else considering this, proceed with caution.

Behavioral Technical

I applied and then it took over a month to hear back, but after that, things moved really fast. I had interviews with HR people and then with most of the team I'd be working with. The interviews weren't super structured, and the hiring process felt unprofessional with typos and delays in communication. When I got there, I had to wait an extra 10 minutes because the recruiter didn't tell my interviewer I'd arrived. I put in a lot of time, talked to 7 different people, and wasn't even told I didn't get the job, even after following up multiple times. I asked for feedback but got no reply. It felt unprofessional to get so far and then get no information, they seemed disorganized.

Technical System Design

I had a phone interview after a university job fair. It was fairly straightforward, covering some SQL and logic questions. The HR then set up an onsite interview in NYC, which took place one afternoon. The onsite itself was fine; the company has a great environment and the managers were pleasant. While I didn't receive an offer, it's still a good company.
