First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Medicus Healthcare Solutions.
Coordinator
It was pretty straightforward. We had two phone rounds, then one in-person interview with two departments. They were very flexible with timing and understood I worked a typical 9-5, so it was hard to talk during business hours.
- What past experiences are you able to bring to this role?
Practice Service Coordinator
So the interview process for this job was quite long. It started with a recruiter phone screen that lasted about 15-20 minutes, and they asked me right away to schedule another interview. The next week, I went to their office for an in-person interview that took about 2.5 hours, where I met with 3-4 people. Later that same day, they called to ask me to come back for another interview the very next day, which also lasted about 2 hours. Honestly, I felt the interview process was a bit excessive for this role.
- What is your understanding of Medicus?
Recruiter
I was first reached out to by a recruiter from their main office in New Hampshire because they found my resume online. After checking out the job details and benefits, I scheduled a phone interview. I had a chat with someone who asked about my sales background and said I was a good fit, then they said my info would go to their Lakewood, CO office. I got an email confirming my next interview time and place. When I got there, I met one of the employees who showed me to a conference room. The office space was a bit dark and cramped with cubicles, most of which were empty. The employee went to get the interviewer and came back after about 10 minutes. The interview started, and the interviewer was pretty short and a bit sharp. When I asked about the job, they called it a 'grind.' My own questions were met with what seemed like annoyance. The interview wrapped up quickly, and I was told to wait for the person I was supposed to meet originally. About 5 minutes later, the employee came back and said that person was busy and I'd have to come back next week. They vaguely said someone would call to reschedule, but I haven't heard anything since. It felt like the office vibe was way different from what the company website suggested, and it reminded me of some reviews I'd seen online.
- Can you tell me about how Medicus helps its clients rapidly expand their medical practices?
Account Executive
It took 3 months and 3 rounds of interviews. They knew I had no staffing experience. They kept saying the interview feedback was great and positive. Then I had to send multiple follow up emails to see where they stood in the offer process. I waited a month for them to say I was not being pursued further because my limited staffing experience.
- How would your sales experience translate to this position?
