All the meetings were on Zoom. Some were 30 minutes, others 15 minutes. It wasn't the best process for showing off skills, and you didn't really get to know the team.

A recruiter contacted me to schedule a phone interview. I then had a good 30-minute phone chat with HR. She was really nice and knew the company inside out. She asked some challenging questions that caught me off guard a bit because recruiters usually don't ask those. A few days later, she sent me an email saying they decided to move forward with other candidates who had more direct experience.

I was worried about interviewing here because of past reviews about their lack of diversity, but I wanted to see for myself. It turns out the last question was basically asking if I had a problem with them being religious, which seems like a weird way to screen people instead of actually fixing diversity issues. It's kind of sad because innovation really comes from different viewpoints, and their product has gone from innovative to just a call center.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • We are a religious based company. We pray at meetings and religion is a big part of what we do and how we do it. Do you have a problem with that?

I had two separate on-site interviews with Aaron Canales and Charlie Kolb. I met with each of them individually and they asked me different questions. I got to ask them my questions at the end of each meeting.

  • Can you tell me about your five-year plan?
