It was a grad bash event. Students and grads from the metroplex were there. You apply to each location and unit, then have 30-minute interviews at each table. Each table had a nurse manager and director to answer questions. The questions were typical interview questions, no scenario questions. I think they wanted to see how you'd react to intimidation or making eye contact. At least one panel member wouldn't really speak to you or make eye contact, or they'd ask direct questions. I think this was to see if you were confident or how you reacted to a difficult situation.

A recruiter texted me about an intern event and asked if I wanted to interview. I went to the intern bash for the first interview. Then I had a follow-up interview on campus, which they said would be a peer interview. It wasn't a peer interview though, it was another interview with the same people from the first one. On the same day, I had a third interview, which was a cultural interview, with nurses and a social worker from different parts of the hospital. They said they'd contact me to schedule the peer interview next.

I applied online and they set up an interview within a few weeks. The ER was a bit tricky to get around since they were remodeling. First, I spoke with two nurse managers who were really nice. Then, I was moved to another room for interviews with a new nurse, a more experienced nurse, and a nurse manager. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Even though I didn't get the job, I thought it was a good experience and it seems like a good place to work. I got an email back about a week later.

I had one interview with the food service director and clinical nutrition manager. It was in a very intimate location next to the kitchen. The director asked questions along the lines of how I felt about doing certain activities. The Dietitian gave examples of situations with patients and diets. After getting a call back I had two days of orientation. The first was in Irving and the second was at the actual facility. The second day of orientation was followed by a shadowing period. Come dressed to work that day. I didn't and had to leave early because no one told me it was a full day of work.
