It was a fast process overall. I was happy with how well they communicated and how timely they were with all the interviews. But, I had to go through 3 interviews. THREE. And then they contacted my references. This was my dream job, and at the very last minute, I got a call thinking I was going to get an offer, but they ended up changing the job's location at the last second. Looking back, if a company is willing to do this to you, I can only imagine what else might happen down the line. It was so unprofessional and crushing, especially since they knew the search was because of a layoff!

I had a phone call, then an online test, followed by an in-person interview with two supervisors. They asked typical questions. It seemed to go okay until they didn't ask for references, which made me think I wouldn't get an offer, even though I'd dropped them off. I've done this job before. Maybe I talked too much at the end, and one supervisor seemed bored the whole time. I was told I'd hear back by Wednesday, but I didn't. I left a message for the HR recruiter, who had been responsive, and got a generic rejection email a couple of days later. Before the in-person interview, I got a tour and a benefits overview, which felt like a waste of time since it seems they'd already made up their minds or were biased. The job has been posted again multiple times. I need to improve my interviewing, but I suspect ageism or that they already had their candidates chosen.

After applying, I was contacted by a recruiter via email about a week later to arrange a phone call. A few days after that, the recruiter and I discussed the role and my background. The recruiter mentioned they would forward my application to the hiring team and follow up if there was interest. About a week later, the recruiter emailed me to say the hiring team wanted to proceed. Later the same day, I got an email from the hiring team to set up a video interview. The following week, I had a video interview with three people: two who would be in the same role I was applying for, and one manager. It was a standard interview. They said I'd hear back in two weeks. I followed up, and it's now been a little over two weeks since the interview, and I haven't heard back. I'm guessing I didn't get the job, but I've seen reviews saying the hiring process can take about a month, so I'm still hopeful lol

I got contacted by a recruiter right after I applied online and had a quick phone screen. Then I went in for an onsite interview, but they decided I'd be a better fit for a different role. So, I had two more really short onsite interviews for that other position. After a couple of weeks of waiting, I had to email HR a few times to find out the job was already filled. The original recruiter then suggested I apply for a similar job, which ended up being one that didn't even need a four-year degree.
