First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MediaMath.
Marketing Engineer
had a phone chat with the recruiter where we mostly talked about behavioral stuff. Then went in for 5 interviews, each about 30 mins, with different people. These were also mostly behavioral and motivational questions, asking about my resume.
- Can you share an example of a time you failed?
Marketing Engineer
The interview process had four steps, which they explained on their website for the MEP program. It was a pretty bad experience because I found out I made it to the fourth stage on the same day the interviews were scheduled. I'm not sure if that's their standard procedure or if HR dropped the ball. After the interview, they said I'd hear back in 1-2 weeks about the job. Three weeks later, I emailed them and was told I'd know by the end of that week. The program was about to start, and I never got any notification. The whole thing took about two months, and I really wish I could have gotten some feedback on why I wasn't a good fit.
- Tell me about your experience working in groups.
Marketing Engineer
First, I submitted a paper on which MediaMath philosophy I fit best. Then, I had to do an online Wonderlic test, followed by a phone interview a few days later. After that, there were on-site interviews with five people, each lasting thirty minutes. It was a great experience overall.
- Can you explain what MediaMath does in your own words?
- Tell me about a time you collaborated with others.
